The 300 Small and Medium-sized Enterprises award system recognizes small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are taking on the challenge of business innovation and new businesses in response to changes in economic and social structures, and that can be expected to contribute to the growth of the regional and Japanese economy.
Logo
In 2023, a logo was created for the Habataku 300 Companies Award.
The meaning of the logo is a combination of a circle symbolizing Japan (the Hinomaru) and a feather representing wings that stretch out into the future and the world. The golden color of the circle is associated with prestige, success and being at the top, while the feathers inside the circle are designed to rise steadily, expressing the wish for the future development of the Japanese economy by the award-winning companies and other SMEs in a variety of fields.
